Venture capital intelligence in 2026: how to access it
Data as of 4 September 2026.
Step 1. Start from the investor type
/investors/ lists venture capital firms, angel investors, private equity firms, micro VC funds, accelerators, family offices and the rest, each with its count.
Step 2. Narrow by investment stage
/investors/stage/ pages split the same file by seed, early stage venture, late stage venture, private equity and debt. An investor carrying several stages appears on several pages.
Step 3. Narrow by location
A type by location page is built once it holds enough investors. Location comes from the headquarters address only, so a firm with several offices is counted once.
Step 4. Read the columns
Recorded investments, lead investments, exits and a team count. The team count is the number of public professional profiles matched to the investor's website domain. No individual people are published.
Step 5. Compare against the totals
/stats/ carries investor counts by type, stage, country and founding decade, with the charts behind them.
Fund sizes, assets under management and deal terms are not carried.
